So over it

I'm sure there's something you can relate to with the title of this moment. 

Go ahead, admit it. I won't judge you.

I can give you a list of "over it" topics.

Like this Depression.

I know it's there. I can literally feel it weighing me down. 

Waking up bubbly and happy and within an hour am I feeling as if I'm a nuisance.

I've wasted away so many of my days, I'm ashamed of it. And strangely afraid of it. 

I'm afraid that it'll soon get the better of me once again. Fighting it everyday is exhausting. 

I'm literally sitting here writing out every thought when it starts up. "Who is going to want to read this?" So that's usually when I ask or say if you're still reading this... Well I caught myself this time. 

And I want to thank you in this moment for reading my thoughts, hearing my emotions. Just letting me talk. I miss writing. Typing. Crafting. I miss my therapy. But I have no energy.

I've been up and down emotionally and mentally that's for sure.

Hey Zombabes!

Having a hard time sleeping?

Tired of waking up tired?

Do I sound like an infomercial?

Hahaha

For real now.

Influenster was awesome and sent me some ZzzQuil!

I already have a hard time sleeping as it is with work, or lack there of at times.

Stress doesn't help either.

And with all of that, sometimes fun doesn't happen until after midnight.

So, I tried it the other night when I knew I'd be able to sleep in the next day and actually try it out.

Posted this on my Snapchat [ Zombodytolove ] that night.

Now for what you're really here for. My experience...

As you'll see in my video, if you do watch, I wasn't fully convinced. I do believe ZzzQuil does work, considering NyQuil usually does the tick, anyone else agree? 

However they say it will be instant and 8 hours. 

Which it was neither.

After a 2 hour wait of trying to sleep, I finally passed out. Only to wake up as I usually do during the night. Only once though, which is a rarity. And I only got about 6, maybe 7 hours of sleep. 

I think given time ZzzQuil could be more effective.

Or maybe I wasn't meant to sleep.

Reversing my routine...

Hey Zombabes!

So Influenster sent me TRESemmé! 

That's right, I was one of the first to try the Shampoo and Conditioner from the #ReverseYourRoutine collection. 

Let me tell you lovely readers, I am very picky about what I use in my hair. So trying any new product always gives me anxiety. Not to mention I LOVE having my hair soft like a feather. So my fears in  using the conditioner first were really prominent

. 

Yes you read that right, you have to condition your hair first.

Then you shampoo second.

Thank you to the soul who suggested the large numbers on the bottles. Because knowing me I'd completely forget and just use it like a normal product. 

Now for what you came for

First Impressions

I literally was freaking out and telling all of my friends. It took me a little over a week to build up the courage to wash my hair with these. But I did it! And I read the back of the bottles a good three times before I put anything in my hair. Like I took my time! So you're to use the conditioner first, that's why that bottle has a large #1 on it. 2-3 pumps it said, so I did 3 but felt like 4 would be perfect. 

The scent wasn't strong but nothing bad at all. using that first in my hair made it feel heavy, granted when you wash your hair the water weighs it down but I don't think that was the case this time. 

Now when I used the shampoo, it's use as normal. Lather that baby up and get all bubbly, maybe even sing about a pocket full of sunshine. Here's when I had some issue. once said and done with my shower i felt my hair and thought "How the hell am I supposed to brush this, it feels too dry". Let me tell you. I was wrong.

Thoughts

Never in my life I thought I would fall in love with washing my hair like this. They really changed my life with this. My hair feels so soft, so light weight, so voluminous! And what more could a girl want right? Well a lot of things actually. Like frizz control. But I had no problems with that either. 

Recommendations

Give it a try. It's inexpensive. 

Don't assume this was a bad idea.

L'Oreal EverPure Repair & Defend Review

Hey Zombabes!

I know it's been a while since I've actually blogged, well as I already once said....

I'm going to try to start writing again. 

Baby steps though...

Well lets get this party started!

I received L'Oreal's EverPure Repair & Defend:

Shampoo

Conditioner

Lotion

Each product on their own as something to offer.

 Shampoo

The shampoo gives my hair this refreshed feeling, like when you chew on a fresh piece of mint gum. It's a soothing and relaxing sensation. 

Conditioner

As far as conditioner, I say it does its job. I literally love when I wash this out of my hair. Why you ask, well because every time I do, I imagine I am sitting back and someone else is running their fingers through my hair and it just feels so fresh and smooth. 

Mask

Considering I've never done a hair mask, I was 100% Scared! I didn't know what to expect and you an be sure my anxiety went crazy. BUT I did it, and I'm glad I did. The first time I did it I fell in love with how soft my damaged hair felt! Granted I did get frizzy hair but I believe I resolved that problem when I used it the second time, following it with the lotion.

Lotion

This is a product I use with every hair washing session, Considering I wash my hair every other day I can say this for sure keeps my frizz down to an appropriate level. It also makes my hair soft if I don't use the hair mask that day. Not that I don't use it when I use the mask as well.

So over all I am so beyond glad influenster sent me these products to test and review because they're now in my essentials. I recommend you try at least one of these products though I believe they work best when used together.

Plans and goals

Ah, hello loves.

I am so tired, we are barely over a week into the new year and I have so much planned over the next two months. I know I didn't post anything here in December but I did stick to my goal at posting on my YouTube every other day. -Hey hey don't forget to subscribe.-

So if you are still reading, I love you.

January I plan to stick to a new video every other day. And at least start doing 3 blog posts a month.

February is going to be a special month for me on YouTube and I really hope you check it out. HINT the entire month is dedicated to 1 series of videos, it'll be 14 videos total. 

So this is my two month plan. Hopefully I can get plans going for march and such. Do you have any requests? Are you excited to see the future videos and posts?

My main goal. I would love to hit 1,000 subscribers by my second year on YouTube. Which isn't until new years eve. So I totally see that as a reasonable goal.

Pink Lady Lips review

MILANI

I love you for naming this shade Pink Lady, it's just so cute!

So lets get down to business, 

I went to CVS when they had their big beauty sale. I seen some of their Milani items were on sale, just not all of them. 

Meaning I was bummed when I couldn't get 2 lipsticks, that called my name, for dang near $1.50

None the less I got myself this lovely gloss, that also called my name.

Again the shade is 07 Pink Lady, which I feel is a good fit for the shade.

I enjoy pink shades very much, during the spring time so this will be used quite often in a few months. And maybe on and off during the holiday season. 

Just to see the back of this, I actually like that their label isn't just a sticker. It's printed on the packaging. 

Here is the swatch of it with a flash, it's a very nice soft pink shade, one I'd love to have as a lipstick as well, so yes I might try to hunt that down. As for the product, the scent is a bit of bubblegum and cotton candy. It is sticky as any lipgloss is, I think this is just one of those glosses that i nice to have in your bag when you're in need of a little pink shine. This might make a good gift this holiday season for someone who wishes to expand their lip gloss selection. Over all I give this a 3/5 Unicorns. Only because I don't like how sticky this actually is.

Rockin' Lipgloss

Oh goodness who here remembers always having to have rock candy as a kid? 

I know I do! 

So when I seen these lip glosses at Claire's I about spazzed. Not only were they on sale (10 for $10) I looked online and they have more flavors. You can click HERE to check them out on the official Dylans webpage. 

I purchased the only one they had, luckily I am a fan of the Strawberry flavoring. But fist I wanna talk about the packaging. 

I really enjoy how realistic the lip gloss looked from afar. I seen it and was like woah what is that, I need some of that in my life. When I seen it was $1 and a lipgloss, you know I didn't set it back down. Oh and originally this is $8.50 which is a little much for a lipgloss but I'll give it props cause it is Dylans. 

I'd also like to mention this is my first Dylans product and so far, it's goin good. 

Here's a look out of the packaging, It's all plastic, and not sharp, so don't worry you wont hurt yourself. 

I did notice that it shines like rock candy does in some lighting which is really cool. 

Now this flavor turned out to be clear, and I expected a hint of pink to be honest. 

I don't know if this goes for all flavors but non the less, I still like it.

Let's talk about the scent of this. Have you ever had those sour candies that you had to squeeze out of a tube? I cannot for the life of me remember the name, please tell me if you know what I'm talking about. But thats what this smells like! And I highly love it!! It makes me want to eat it. But please DO NOT consume this. This is a beauty product, not food. In that, I should mention the warning label about consumption at the bottom of the clear packaging. As any lip gloss would have, just don't eat it. 

Now for the product itself, it is a bit sticky and thick. I had to pat mine on via the applicator. 

Then had to smooth it out like any normal lip product. In total I give this a 3/5 unicorns. My only downfall is that its near $10 just for 1 product, and the second down fall is the thickness of the product, as well as not having any shade to it. But that last one doesn't mean  I wont use it.

Juicy Dreamin'

As stated in my last post, I wouldn't mind not getting anything this Christmas.

Chances are that's exactly what'll happen. 

But non the less, that doesn't mean I can't grab something for myself if the sale is worth it. 

In that, I should tell you. Every year my family has done a game for the holidays so everyone gets a gift. Then you would go on and get more if you wanted to. 

So upon that I may or may not get myself something I want, knowing I wouldn't get it. So why would I pass up the sale right?

Question: Do you buy yourself a gift during the holidays? Your birthday? Romantic days?

My Answer: Yes, I'm totes a loner like that. 

So lets get to the point of this post.

I am in love with Juicy Couture.

It is a secret addiction since I was in high school. And I never owned anything of their until now.

I got a sample of this from Sephora, and Oh My Gosh!

This lady is in love. 

So this is that one thing I'm going to get myself this season, and hey if by chance this is that gift I get from the family games, well I wont be bummed at all because that just means more Juicy!

Have you ever had this? Gosh I wish you could do a scratch and sniff with the screen on your device. I just think you all need to smell this at least once in your life. And hopefully you become as addicted as I do.

Retail is taking over!

How many of you have been watching tv lately? So you've seen the Christmas commercials?

I swear I started seeing them not even a week into November.

I couldn't believe it at first. 

BUT

Then I realized this right here is a sign!

Retailers are taking over.

I mean this truly bothers me. And I'm a girl that loves to shop. 

Turkey comes before presents okay?

And Christmas isn't even about the gifts. I mean the best gift you could give is to be with the ones closest to you. 

That's what it means to me at least. I don't care if you give me anything, I'd rather get nothing and be with the ones I love. Then get all these material things in life and feel alone. 

I just can't. 

That's just me though. And I really hope that retail realizes, rather then opening stores on Thanksgiving day at 6pm, in which some people call dinner time.

That they should be opening at midnight, aka BLACK FRIDAY!

Thanksgiving and well the Holiday season is about family and giving back. Well how are some people supposed to do that when they're either working or shopping because all of the damn sales?

Don't get me wrong I love a good sale just as much as the next person. But I love my family too, and I'd want to spend time with them more now then anything.
I guess getting older, even though I'm only 23, I've learned family wont always be there.

Because life does happen, and the ones you love wont always be around. So in all of this ranting, I hope you see my point. 

Spend time with your family this holiday season. 

Don't let material things get in the way of good memories.

Rockin' Curves Mascara Review

BAM! 

Rimmel London has done it again! I was sold on this sassy packaging in my favorite colors. Red and Black being my favorite colors, of course I had to touch it. 

Once I picked it up and read more about this mascara the more I wanted to try it. I personally have a positive history with their mascara. So I purchased it, retailing at walmart about $5. 

This mascara has the "Broken Heart" brush. I absoluly love this idea. It's made to curve to your lash line, with a thin point to get those hard to reach lashes. Yes it is hard to work with, you do need to practice not getting it all over. None the less I love the brush! 

With a broken heart comes tears, and it is sad to say this mascara isn't waterproof. But I can look past that with the results I get from this product. On a scale of 1-10 I give this mascara an 8. The only fault I truly found was that it wasn't water proof. Maybe I missed this product with that as an option. Or maybe it's not out yet. I do recommend you look into this product if you're a mascara addict like me, or just looking for something new to try.

Adore Dior

So for those of you who don't know yet, I finally have some Dior. I purchased the amazing and perfect Lip Glow along with the Lip Maximizer. 

Let's just say I am addicted. This is now something that is in my purse at all times. I love to use the products together to give me that perfect lip with just about any look. 

The swatch on top is the lip glow, then the gloss below it. This product is amazing! Yes it is a bit pricy, but completely worth it. This is a must have in any makeup collection.

3D Fiber Lash Mascara Review

So I'm sure by now many of you have heard or seen something about this 3D Fiber Lash Mascara from Younique. I was finally able to get my hands on some and I even did a first impressions video on my youtube channel. ( http://youtu.be/GumIcYKGGmE )

Here is the product case itself.

I absolutely love the packaging with this product. It's different, bold, and really makes the product stand out from any other mascara. It opens up just like any case for glasses. 

Inside look. 

Inside you get two tubes. 

First one you must use over one layer of your favorite mascara. In my video I used the L'oreal Lashout butterfly mascara. But over time I found the best one to use was the Covergirl Clump Crusher. 

You have to apply the Moodstruck Transplanting Gel after the one layer of your favorite mascara. This is what the brush looks like. 

Quickly after applying the gel you will want to take the Moodstruck Natural Fibers and apply it to your lashes. Now you don't want to apply too much or you'll get fibers all over. After that layer, you'll apply another coat of the gel and continue the process until desired results.

 Hopefully with these two photos you can see the brush isn't so much of a brush and the fibers look as though they're tiny hairs.

I did follow the tips that came along with the mascara, and that was to do one eye at a time. You really do need to be quick with the fibers and gel. I truly enjoy the falsies look I get from this product. And I do have to say it is all trial and error. This is great to have if you're not into wearing falsies but desire the look. The price did have me question if it was worth a try but in the end there is always good deals out there with younique. And thus far I haven't been disappointed with their product.

Smith's Rose & Mandarin Lip Balm: Full review

So I received this product from my best friend. And I did the first impression video which is up on my channel now.  But I wanted to share my full review here with you. 

This is my 2nd Smith's product and I love it. The first one ended up being one of my top 5 in my bag at all times. But now things have changed. I dropped this beauty in my purse after opening it and I've been using only this one since then, unless I have lipstick on. 

The smell is completely delightful. It's got that citrus smell with a sheer pink tint for your lips. It is the perfect product for the summer time. And I'm not gunna lie. It makes me want to eat more oranges. Hahaha. 

I'm not sure of how much it retails for, or where she got it. But I cannot thank her enough for bringing this into my life. This lip balms has 5/5 unicorns for me. And I recommend every girl having this in their beauty collection.
